Large aural history of the obscure bug highly influential German label. Started out as a Punk label, later became one of the biggest nazi rock labels. This book has many interviews with ex-members of Punk bands on Rock-o-Rama and behind-the-scenes stories.
Rock-o-Rama were famous for their lo-fi releases by German bands, then they licensed the great Finnish bands from the Propaganda label. That’s also why the awesome SISTE DAGERS HELVETE LP (Norwegian band) ended up on Rock-o-Rama without the band knowing – or approving.
I was positively surprised by how comprehensive this book was. It’s also well-edited and a thick, professional-looking hardbound book
This is the German version. There also is an English version, but I’m not selling that one.
