MISSION STATEMENT
Norwegian Leather brings you official vinyl re-releases and new releases by some of the best Norwegian Punk bands. We’re working with our friends to keep this music, which means the world to us, away from bootleggers and shady businessmen.
Norwegian Leather Records is located in Berlin and is the sister label of HeartFirst Records.
The members of bands like BANNLYST and SO MUCH HATE have been good friends for decades.

SO MUCH HATE – A Day At The Station 7”
Re-release of the only SO MUCH HATE 7″. Out in mid-March 2026.
BANNLYST – Mørk Tid 7”
A new BANNLYST EP, not a re-release! Two and a half unheard songs from 1985 plus two more. The lost final recordings before the members started moving from Molde to Oslo. Killer stuff! The tape with these recordings was found some years ago when a band member moved house. And was finally released on vinyl. Totally classic Norwegian Hardcore Punk.
Released in cooperation with Cease Fire! The label that released the crazy awesome MOLDE PUNX 2×LP compilation. Currently, the vinyl is still available from the webshop on here.

SO MUCH HATE – How We Feel LP
The first release on Norwegian Leather was the re-release of the iconic SO MUCH HATE – “How We Feel” LP. This was the band’s best release.
The LP of the Oslo band originally came out in 1987 on X-Port Plater. The re-release looks like the original but the front cover is black and white as the original artwork was colored afterwards. The big lyric sheet is exactly like the original.

BANNLYST – Diskografi LP
The second release on Norwegian Leather was the Diskografi LPs by the Hardcore Punk band BANNLYST from the town of Molde. 3 members of BANNLYST moved to Oslo in the mid-1980s and formed SO MUCH HATE together with Gunnar from SVART FRAMTID and KAFKA PROSESS. Thomas from BANNLYST also played drums in KAFKA PROSESS and STENGTE DØRER at some point in time.
The “Diskografi” LP has songs from the BANNLYST split tape with ANGOR WAT (Knall Tapes, 1984), their 7″ songs (1985), “Terrorstyre” (from the “Nå Eller Aldri” 7″ compilation) and “Louie Louie” from an early demo tape recording with their old drummer. A total of 24 songs in 44 minutes with some of the best 1980s Hardcore Punk that ever came out of Europe.

BANNLYST – Live At Blitz LP
The “Live At Blitz” LP is a great soundboard live recording from 1992. BANNLYST played at the 10th anniversary gig of the legendary Blitz squat in Oslo in front of a wild and raunchy crowd of punks. They are at the top of their game because they have been nonstop touring in SO MUCH HATE and they perform old BANNLYST hits with the same live precision.
