NUKEY PIKES – Three Men And The Monkey 7″

What can I say? The first release ever on HeartFirst. NUKEY PIKES were fresh and different from anything else from Japan in the late 1980s. Rather US-influenced, nobody cares about that Japanese style anymore.

They sent their demo to The Bonzen Records and I knew that Zündi would not release a 7″ EP, so I started a 7″ label.

Back in the day, they played a lot with IDORA, URBEN TERROR, SIC, ROSE ROSE etc. A fresh new scene. My friend Kalv from HERESY also helped to promote that scene.

My friend Nori played bass in NUKEY PIKES, today he plays in LIFE, who also have and EP on HeartFirst.
